

The lasting image of every NHL playoff year is the winning team lifting
the Stanley Cup in celebration. The moment is dramatic and emotional
whether the final series lasts four games or seven.
But as we noted in the April 28 issue of the Sporting News, throughout
the playoffs certain moments stick in our memories because they played a
key role in the result or turned the tide of a series. Others stand out
