Italian roundup: Juventus, Inter share Serie A lead

ROME -- AC Milan scored twice in the second half to tie Lazio 2-2 Sunday night and trails leaders Juventus and Inter Milan by two points in Italy's top league.

Lazio took a 2-0 lead at halftime on goal by Dejan Stankovic and penalty kick by Claudio Lopez. But AC Milan responded in the second half on goals by Filippo Inzaghi and Rivaldo eight minutes apart.

With 43 points, AC Milan slipped from second to third place in Serie A. Lazio is fourth with 39 points.

Juventus, the defending champion, won 2-1 at Parma. Inter, which entered the weekend as the sole leader, lost 2-1 at fifth-place Chievo.

In other games Sunday, it was: Atalanta 0, Udinese 0; Empoli 1, Perugia 1; Piacenza 3, Bologna 1; Reggina 4, Como 1; Torino 1, Modena 1.
